Hi chicory is good in stir frys, I usually do the green end this way then the thicker whiter end roasted as SS chips!
My favorite meal at the moment for lunch time is veggie stir fry (beansprouts, mange tout, peppers and courgette) in a mountain bread with half the cheese allowance inside and half on top, zap in microwave and serve with side salad (lettuce, celery and cucumber)... also leaves 2 starches for witrh my evening meal! Mind you I like mountain bread with cheese in the micro anyway.... nearest thing I get to a panini now! Do you stay at the same hotel each week? do you think you could get a mini george grill? Would they store it at a weekend? It would open up your menu choice enormously (chicken/ fish/ steak???) Hope you have a good first weigh in Gill x

Ooh I've just bopught some chicory this morning, so I'll try those chips to have with my fish for lunch!! And I'm having stir fry for tea, so I'll put them in there too! Thanks so much for that! I haven't been able to find any mountain bread yet, but I know I'll love stuff like that. So I might keep them as a treat and get some in a few weeks. Yeah I'm in the same hotel every week. I have been thinking about getting something like that yeah - I bought a small wok through the week too. I'm coping really well actually - the only thing I really dont have a lcue with is the seeds. I just dont know how to include them into my daily meals at all. But I must be doing something right, cause I got unofficially weighed this morning and I have lost a phenominal amount of weight. Quite unbelivable! But my official weigh in isn't until Tuesday so I'll keep it to myself until then ![]() Thanks again Gill, Cheers, Claire |

Hope you like the chicory, I hated it at first but now I have it most meals! shows how your taste buds change lol!
You should be able to get mountain bread at your weigh in, or they will do it in the SS shop, its not cheap @ £4 for 8 bits, but if it helps you stay on plan its well worth it! Hope your hard work pays off, and stay strong Gill x

Claire, a lot of us have the seeds in yoghurt for breakfast, I also quite like to have them mixed in with a feta salad. It's all about what works best for you
