apple biscuits

I do 6 days in one go - do as you wish

for each day

1 apple
all seeds for day
1 tsp cinammon or mixed spice
optional - a rivita (I dont use it here so can use it later in the day LOL)

use a coffee grinder to grind the seeds down.

either grate or thinly slice apple.

(I grate in food processor as do 6 days)

Mix together

I use baking parchment in a swiss roll tin (2 tins for 6 days)

Squish it down onto the baking parchment in the tin.

sometimes you need to have added a little water but not always.

I find the back of a spoon is useful for the squishing bit - I have a bowl of water to dip it in to keep it moist too. Fingers are fine too.

If you are doing less days then you can roll it in your hands to make biscuit shapes - i personally found this rather messy.

hope you find them useful.

These look really good - I can't eat seeds but I expect I could substitute the oatbran I have to have every day.

What heat do you cook them on and for how long Bizy?

I cook mine on 200C for about 15 minutes, depending on your oven.

I used sweet spice on the first batch I ever made and they ended up smelling like oatmeal and raisin cookies!

Well wow!!

I just made a variation of your recipe (since I am not allowed seeds but must have oat bran and tahini every day) with grated apple, oatbran and tahini with a little mixed spice, mixed and baked. It took half an hour to cook and maybe could use a bit more to make it crispier but omg, it was delicious!!! Had it with my coffee and it felt like I was eating a flapjack or soft baked cookie. Sinful! And I got to have a courgette omelette for breakfast too. I feel really full and satisfied now.

Truly a brilliant addition for my breakfast. Means I don't have to have yoghurt every day as that's where I have the oatbran and tahini, otherwise it doesn't get eaten.

Thank you VERY much - I was getting soooooo bored of yoghurt!
