Smile Weigh in tonight

Just come back from my first weigh in for 3 months & have stayed the same, measurements have gone up from last time ( but was measured by my usual consultant this week unlike last time).

I'm so happy as this is the first time in my life that a year after reaching my goal weight, I've kept the weight off (weigh less than I did then, although a couple of pounds heavier than my lightestin the summer) .Had a number of comments from friends at work too about how well I've kept my weight stable.

I can't say its easy...its not...I have to plan, prepare & think about what I eat but this time I think I've accepted that this will always be the case & I cant become complacent. If I have a treat at the weekend then I need to offset it by being very good during the week.

Off to centre parcs at the weekend with my family & my sister...no worries about wondering around in my swimming costume.

Good luck to everyone else weighing in.

I will be two years on SS on the 1st of April I reached my goal at the end of June, so will have been two years on maintenance in June. Planning is the key, and also I think it must become a way of life for us all. I have just returned from a trip to Antiguia, I took my seeds with me, had my fruit and yoghurt for breakfast lunch was something grilled, and salad, then much the same in the evenings. My other half was having a bit of a nag to let myself go but to be honest, I couldnt, SS has to be my way of life, and when I got home first thing I did was hop on the scales and guess what ??? I even lost a couple of pounds with all the swimming, that has to be the Best reward ever !!

Hi Mandy - well done you. You really are an inspiration to us all, along with Suze, Bizy and you too Donna. I will be saying the same in June when I get to my 1 year anniversary. Just a few pounds to get rid of from Christmas. Back on track now and feeling so much better than when I got back from holiday earlier in the week. I am always surprised how well I feel after just a couple of days back on plan.
